ASTRA’S Music Through The Decades
ASTRA is pleased to present a unique program “Music Through the Decades” in July 2024. This program will feature 2 songs per decade from the 1920s through the 2000s, mostly in a solo presentation format.
Audition dates:
Saturday June 22, 2024 at 10am until all are heard
Sunday June 23, 2024 at 1:00pm until all are heard
Location:
All Saints School lunchroom, 504 2nd St SW, Puyallup WA 98371.
Park and enter off of 6th Ave SW / 3rd St SW.
How to Audition:
- Prepare a vocal solo not to exceed 90 seconds in length. Please provide either sheet music (in the key you plan to sing) for our audition pianist, or bring a backing track on your own device. A Bluetooth speaker will be provided for playing backing tracks. While a capella singing is permitted, it is not preferred as your ability to follow accompaniment is part of the assessment.
- Complete the audition application, either by downloading and bringing it completed, or complete the application on site at auditions.
- Arrive for either audition time and follow the directions of our friendly volunteers!
- If able, review the list of potential program songs and indicate those of greatest interest on your application form.
